Observe, Converse and memory
Click a sleeve's name on the Fleet to open its page. It has four tabs.
Observe
Observe shows each step of the sleeve's loop as it happens: the task it was given, each turn of the model with its tokens and time, every tool call with its arguments and result, and the answer. Click a step to see its details.
Steps are forwarded from your Dock only while the tab is open, and are never stored. Opening the tab later does not show earlier tasks.
Converse
Converse sends the sleeve a message and shows its answer. The message is handled like any other task, so it uses tokens and counts against the sleeve's guards. Answers can take minutes; the page waits for them, and keeps the conversation while you switch tabs. Sleevecast does not keep the conversation: reload the page and it is gone.
Operators and above can send messages. To message sleeves from your own software, use an API key.
Runs
Runs shows what each task did, including the ones nobody watched, such as a routine at 07:30: when it ran, what started it (a routine by name, Converse, the work queue, a bus message), how it ended, how long it took and how many tokens it used. Open a run to read its task, its answer, and every tool call it made with short arguments and a note of the result, so you can see what it decided and what it changed. Filter by routines, Converse or problems (guard trips, halts, failures).
Runs are kept with the sleeve's memory on its Dock, not in Sleevecast's cloud, and are read when you open the tab. The newest 20 keep their answer and actions; older ones keep a one-line summary. Arguments and results are shortened, and known secrets are removed.
Memory
Memory shows what the sleeve keeps in its private memory, read from its Dock when you open the tab: its summary, the facts it remembered (with confidence and when it learned them) and its recent task history. It is read-only here.
The sleeve sees each fact with a short id in brackets, such as [1a2b3c4d]. When a fact is wrong, tell it in Converse, for example "the fact about the ClickUp board is wrong: the list to monitor is 901421294199". It writes the corrected fact and removes the old one (remember_private with replaces), or removes it with forget_private when nothing replaces it. Replaced facts never reach its prompt again.
Memory lives on the Dock. Resleeving, stopping and starting, and moving to a new version all keep it.
Events
Events lists what the sleeve did: became ready, completed or failed a task, tripped a guard, was halted, drew a new face. Events carry no task text. The organization's Events page lists all sleeves' events with filters. How long events are kept depends on your plan.
Cost
The Cost page shows input and output tokens and model calls per sleeve and model, by day. The dollar figures are estimates at each model's list price, as the sleeve's runtime knows it; your provider bills you directly, and its invoice is the truth.
